Project Manager – Humanitarian Programs

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the implementation of a World Vision grant in South Sudan, ensuring that project outcomes are achieved while adhering to donor guidelines and humanitarian standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee grant implementation, managing work plans, reporting, and financial compliance.
• Coordinate with government officials, local communities, donors, and partners to ensure effective project delivery.
• Manage the project budget, procurement, and financial reporting to meet donor and World Vision requirements.
• Supervise a multidisciplinary project team, conduct performance reviews, and provide training and capacity‑building.
• Maintain monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge‑management systems, producing high‑quality reports and documentation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, public health, management, international development, or related field.
• At least seven years of experience in program management, grant administration, and financial oversight in humanitarian or development settings.
• Proven ability to manage partnerships with governments, NGOs, and donors, especially in fragile contexts.
• Experience with Food Security, Livelihood, WASH, health, and protection programmes.
