GBV Case Management Officer (Protection)

About the role
The GBV Case Management Officer will support IsraAID’s protection programme in South Sudan by providing survivor‑centred case management and coordination. Reporting to the Protection Technical Specialist, the role ensures timely, ethical, and high‑quality services for survivors of gender‑based violence across operational areas.
Key responsibilities
- Guide case workers in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing survivor‑centred action plans in line with GBV SOPs.
- Monitor individual case plans, recommend safety measures, and ensure appropriate referrals to legal, health, and shelter services.
- Lead emotional support groups and provide Psychological First Aid to survivors.
- Supervise social workers’ intake, assessment, and follow‑up processes to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Coordinate with partners and donors to align case management activities with programme strategies and reporting requirements.
Required profile
- Female candidate with a proven track record in GBV case management.
- Minimum of several years’ experience in protection or humanitarian settings.
- Strong self‑motivation, ability to work independently, and excellent coordination skills.
- Commitment to survivor‑centred principles and ethical service delivery.
