Management Accountant - Financial Services

About the role

Kaziweza Limited is seeking a Management Accountant to support its financial services operations in Juba, South Sudan. The role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, management accounting, reconciliations, budgeting, analysis and regulatory compliance, while aiding senior management in decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and management packs.
• Analyse financial performance against budgets and prior periods and provide recommendations.
• Review bank, cash, mobile money, branch, partner, inter‑company and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve unusual or unexplained reconciling items.
• Monitor cash positions, cash movements and liquidity requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and profitability reviews.
• Coordinate regulatory, statutory and audit reporting requirements.
• Review and strengthen financial and operational internal controls.
• Supervise, coach and support Finance Officers and Accountants.
• Drive improvements in financial reporting, reconciliation and finance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years progressive accounting and finance experience, including 2–3 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Proven experience in money remittance, foreign exchange, banking, fintech, micro‑finance or cash‑transfer operations.
• Strong analytical, detail‑oriented and ethical mindset with excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
