Durable Solutions Coordinator – South Sudan

About the role

The Durable Solutions Coordinator will lead the planning, execution, monitoring and reporting of durable solutions projects in Juba, working closely with project teams, government bodies, UN agencies and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of durable solutions projects, including budgets of approximately USD 2 million, ensuring compliance with donor and NRC requirements.
• Provide technical support and supervision to project officers and assistants, including capacity building and HR processes.
• Coordinate with local authorities, NGOs and UN agencies to map programming, facilitate stakeholder meetings and promote the rights of IDPs, returnees and refugees.
• Lead monitoring, evaluation and learning activities, documenting lessons learned and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in durable solutions, displacement or early recovery programmes, preferably with an international NGO.
• Strong understanding of durable solutions frameworks, humanitarian‑development‑peace nexus and South Sudan context.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an asset.
