Senior Information Management Manager

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Senior Information Management Manager to lead data‑driven decision‑making for child protection programmes in South Sudan. This senior position will ensure that evidence‑based analysis supports response planning, advocacy, and accountability across the protection workstream.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee data collection, cleaning, validation, analysis, visualization and reporting for child protection activities.
• Develop and maintain harmonised information management systems and inter‑cluster IM mechanisms.
• Build the capacity of national and local partners to manage and share protection data responsibly.
• Coordinate with government counterparts, steering committees and other coordination platforms to ensure data informs strategic decisions.
• Promote ethical, accurate, and timely data sharing to support resource mobilisation and accountability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in information management within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong understanding of child protection coordination and protection data standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build partnerships and provide technical guidance.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on evidence‑based decision‑making.
