Senior Information Management Manager

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Senior Information Management Manager to lead data‑driven decision‑making for its Child Protection workstream in South Sudan. This role will ensure that evidence‑based analysis, reporting, and information sharing support response planning, advocacy, and accountability across programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee data cleaning, validation, analysis, visualization and reporting processes.
• Manage data collection for the Protection Workstream and ensure timely, accurate, and ethical data delivery.
• Lead the information management function for Child Protection, strengthening harmonised IM systems.
• Promote responsible data practices and build capacity of national and local actors.
• Coordinate inter‑cluster IM mechanisms and engage with government counterparts and other coordination platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in information management within humanitarian or development settings.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and build capacity of local partners.
• Familiarity with child protection data standards and practices.
• Strong analytical mindset and commitment to ethical data use.
