MIS Data Specialist

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Management Information System (MIS) Data Specialist to support its Education for All South Sudan (EFASS) programme. This role will contribute to improving education outcomes for vulnerable children across multiple states in South Sudan.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and maintain programme data from field sites and partner organisations.
• Produce regular data reports, dashboards and visualisations to inform programme decisions.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across the MIS platform.
• Collaborate with programme staff, field officers and external partners to address data gaps.
• Support monitoring and evaluation activities by providing timely data extracts.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in data management, statistics, or a related field.
• Experience working in humanitarian or development contexts, preferably in education programmes.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
