Research, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (RMEAL) Manager

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a dedicated RMEAL Manager to lead research, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning activities for the PlayMatters 3.0 initiative in South Sudan. This role ensures that program data, reporting and learning are of high quality and aligned with IRC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee RMEAL systems for the PlayMatters project.
• Coordinate data collection, analysis and performance reporting across field locations.
• Ensure compliance with IRC RMEAL policies, donor requirements and local regulations.
• Facilitate accountability mechanisms with beneficiaries, partners and stakeholders.
• Support field teams in integrating RMEAL activities into program planning and delivery.
• Produce regular learning products and contribute to knowledge sharing within the consortium.

Required profile

• Proven experience in research, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning within humanitarian or development programs.
• Strong understanding of education‑focused interventions in crisis contexts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi‑partner consortia and local education actors.
• Excellent communication skills and capacity to produce clear, actionable reports.
