Finance Manager South Sudan

About the role

IsraAID is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial operations for its South Sudan programmes. Based in Juba with occasional travel to field offices, the role reports to the Country Director and works closely with the HQ finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for budgeting, financial planning and control across the country office and satellite office in Renk.
• Manage monthly budget execution, forecasts, pipeline requests and cash‑flow management.
• Ensure monthly budgets align with the annual budget and present variance analysis to the Country Director and Programme Managers.
• Compile and submit timely financial reports to HQ and donors in accordance with donor requirements.
• Develop budget templates for donor proposals and provide recommendations for budget realignments.
• Oversee compliance with donor and organisational financial policies.
• Lead and support a team of finance colleagues in both head‑office and field locations.

Required profile

• Hard‑working, self‑driven professional comfortable working independently.
• Strong people‑manager and team‑player with the ability to guide and develop staff.
• Experience in financial management within NGOs or humanitarian settings.
• Knowledge of donor compliance and reporting requirements.
• Willingness to conduct desk‑based work and occasional field verification trips.
