Finance Manager – South Sudan

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead financial and compliance activities for IsraAID’s operations in South Sudan, overseeing the main office in Juba and a satellite office in Renk. Reporting to the Country Director and receiving technical guidance from HQ, the role combines strategic financial management with hands‑on oversight of donor requirements and field verification.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and control the annual and monthly budgets, ensuring alignment with program needs and donor specifications.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for HQ and donors, including forecasts, cash‑flow analysis and budget‑vs‑actual reviews.
• Manage financial planning, pipeline requests and cash‑flow management to sustain programme delivery.
• Ensure compliance with IsraAID finance policies, donor regulations and local statutory requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance colleagues in Juba and Renk, coordinating day‑to‑day financial operations.
• Support proposal development by creating budget templates and providing recommendations for budget realignments.

Required profile

• Self‑driven professional comfortable working independently and managing a small finance team.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to travel to field locations for verification.
• Hard‑working, reliable and able to balance desk‑based tasks with occasional field visits.
