Faith and Development Assistant Officer

About the role

The Faith and Development Assistant Officer works closely with Zonal Programs and Project Managers to nurture staff spiritual formation, build relationships with local churches, and support Faith & Development planning. This role contributes to World Vision’s mission of improving the lives of vulnerable children by integrating Christian values into program delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate staff spiritual formation activities and coordinate faith‑based workshops.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local churches and faith organisations.
• Assist in planning and implementing Faith & Development programmes aligned with World Vision’s objectives.
• Organise training sessions, conferences and events for staff, partners and community members.
• Communicate World Vision’s Christian ethos and model exemplary spiritual leadership.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to Christian faith and values.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and external partners.
• Organisational aptitude for planning and coordinating events.

Required skills

• Experience in coordinating training or workshop programmes.
• Knowledge of church relations and faith‑based community engagement.
