About the role
WUSC, a Canadian global development organization, is recruiting a Senior RLO Opportunity Fund Officer in Juba, South Sudan, to support the DREEM project. - Coordinate monitoring visits and reflection meetings between the Fund team and RLO partners, and provide general administrative support including communications, meeting scheduling, reports and documentation.
- Provide logistical support for the Opportunity Fund's core curriculum on institutional support (financial management, safeguarding, operational policies) and help organize workshops, training sessions and mentorship programs for RLO staff.
- Collect data and reports from RLO grantees to track progress toward youth employment and education targets, and support the finance team in tracking fund disbursements and reporting deadlines.
- Maintain a library of best practices and learning products, track training and mentorship implementation, and help prepare project reports and presentations for stakeholders and donors.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in administrative support, grant assistance or project coordination within an NGO environment.
- Lived experience as a displaced person or strong background working with RDP communities and RLOs is highly valued.
- Fluency in English is required; professional proficiency in Juba Arabic is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills, a commitment to inclusivity, gender responsiveness and locally-led solutions, and the ability to support RLO programming in other countries remotely is highly valued.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace
