Partnerships Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) South Sudan is looking for a Partnerships Coordinator in Juba. The post leads partnership management with local and national organisations, working under the supervision of the Senior Grants and Partnerships Coordinator. It applies the Partnership Excellence for Equality and Results System (PEERS) across the partnership lifecycle and leads and develops the partnerships team, working closely with grants, compliance, programmes, finance, supply chain and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Build understanding of grassroots and community-led emergency response, maintain a map of local responders and engage them in programme development and strategy validation.
• Lead delivery of partnership targets: raising the local partner share of the country programme budget to 15% and reaching ten strategic partnerships, five with women-led or women-focused organisations, by 2028.
• Manage all partnerships and PEERS records, coordinate programme, grants, operations and finance inputs, and ensure timely sub-award management and reporting.
• Mobilise the partnership working group, consolidate smaller partner agreements and promote deeper, strategic partnerships.
• Support partners' capacity strengthening, set priorities and coordinate organisational development support.
• Integrate capacity sharing into programmes and promote learning between IRC staff and partners.
