Senior Finance Associate – Expedited (2 openings)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking two Senior Finance Associates to support its resource management operations in Juba. Reporting to the Head of Resources Management and the Finance Officer, the role combines financial oversight with administrative support across regional and country offices.

Key responsibilities

• Provide procedural guidance to managers and staff, supervising and training finance support personnel.
• Prepare budgets, accounting, financial and statistical reports as required.
• Manage financial resources, monitoring assets, reserves, funds and supplies in line with IOM regulations.
• Offer specialized financial and administrative advice to Project Managers and the Head of Sub‑office.
• Prepare budget submissions and revisions, estimating costs for staff, rentals, utilities, equipment, and services.
• Monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
• Consolidate data into financial statements and track expenditures against authorized limits.
• Support regular bank reconciliations and review payroll processes.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
• Significant experience in financial management, budgeting and reporting, preferably within an international or UN environment.
• Strong knowledge of IOM financial rules and public sector financial regulations.
• Ability to collaborate with regional offices, country offices and the Global Shared Services Centre.
