Sales and Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Specialist will work on‑site in Juba to drive business growth and increase brand visibility for Ayiikos Engineering. The role combines lead generation, client relationship management, and promotion of engineering and construction services to both public and private sector customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities across South Sudan and the East African region.
• Develop and execute sales and marketing plans, including proposals, presentations, and tender support.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns, conduct market research, and organise client meetings, site visits and promotional events.
• Maintain and update the CRM system, track pipelines and report on sales performance.
• Collaborate with technical and project teams to align sales strategies with project capabilities.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities to engage clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proven sales and sales‑management experience, with a track record of meeting revenue targets.
• Experience in business development, marketing planning or brand promotion within engineering, construction or related sectors.
• Knowledge of South Sudan and East African market dynamics, including government and private‑sector procurement processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness and ability to work on‑site in Juba.
