Private Sector Engagement Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on strengthening private‑sector participation, business development, innovation, and investment across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage companies, entrepreneurs, and investors in the space, geospatial and technology sectors.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to uncover commercial opportunities.
• Facilitate matchmaking, business support, and access to finance for stakeholders.
• Promote knowledge exchange and innovation partnerships between Africa and the EU.
• Contribute to policy dialogue and institutional partnership building.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, including market analysis and commercialisation.
• Experience in the space, geospatial or technology sector, preferably with African contexts.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
