Project Coordinator – South Sudan

About the role

Alinea International is seeking a Project Coordinator to support its Field Support Services programme across Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan and the Pan‑African region. Based in Juba, the coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure smooth planning, implementation and reporting of Canada’s international assistance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in developing, planning and prioritising deliverables and DFATD task requests.
• Coordinate and track DFATD task requests, ensuring quality implementation and timely reporting from technical specialists.
• Identify emerging issues, recommend adjustments and communicate them to the Project Manager and designated stakeholders.
• Contribute to the preparation of high‑quality reports, deliverables and documentation.
• Support the identification and sourcing of technical resources as needed.

Required profile

• Experienced candidate currently based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking); additional languages are an asset.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Juba and travel within the region as required.
