Finance Intern for South Sudan Country Office

About the role

The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department of DanChurchAid’s South Sudan Country Office by handling administrative and operational tasks. This short‑term role helps ensure finance activities are executed on time and that the department is prepared for internal and external audit requests.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and file finance documentation, including vouchers and supporting documents.
• Retrieve, scan, and archive financial records to maintain an audit‑ready filing system.
• Assist with the preparation of routine finance reports and data entry as needed.
• Support the finance team in responding to audit queries and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
• Contribute to the harmonisation of finance processes across the office.

Required profile

• Current enrolment in a university programme related to finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Interest in working within an international non‑governmental organisation.
