Expedited Driver

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a reliable Expedited Driver to operate its office vehicle(s) and support daily logistical needs. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain and directly supervised by the Supply Chain Associate, the driver will ensure safe, efficient transport of staff, documents, and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive assigned IOM vehicle(s) for official business and ensure roadworthiness through daily checks of tires, brakes, oil, and other components.
• Arrange minor repairs, keep vehicles clean, and schedule regular service intervals.
• Maintain accurate logs, monthly mileage and fuel consumption reports, and inventory of spare parts.
• Plan the most direct and safe routes, considering road conditions and security risks.
• Assist officials at airports, handling immigration and customs formalities as needed.
• Collect and deliver mail, documents, and parcels between the office, post office, government agencies, and other UN entities.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle class.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to vehicle safety.
