Delivery Driver for Construction Materials

About the role

Metag construction.co is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Delivery Driver to transport construction materials, equipment and supplies to project sites in Central Equatoria, South Sudan. The role ensures timely, safe deliveries while supporting site teams and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles safely, handling heavy materials as required.
• Verify delivery documents, record quantities and report any discrepancies.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and communicate maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and external contacts to confirm delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service attitude for interaction with site teams and suppliers.
• Valid driver’s licence for the vehicle type with a clean driving record.
• Good physical stamina to lift and move materials daily.
• Basic literacy and numeracy for reading delivery notes and completing logs.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently and adapt to changing schedules.

Required skills

• Forklift operation or similar material‑handling equipment.
• Basic vehicle inspection and reporting of maintenance needs.
