Durable Solutions Coordinator

About the role

The Durable Solutions Coordinator will lead implementation of durable solutions programmes across Rubkona (Bentiu), overseeing planning, execution, monitoring, evaluation, learning, team management, documentation and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and implement a portfolio of durable solutions projects, including budgeting, documentation and compliance with donor requirements.
• Provide technical support and capacity building to project staff, implementing partners and civil society organisations.
• Coordinate with local authorities, UN agencies, NGOs and beneficiaries to ensure effective collaboration and advocacy for IDPs and returnees.
• Monitor project expenditures against an approximate USD 2 million budget and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support monitoring, evaluation and learning activities, documenting lessons learned and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in durable solutions, displacement or early recovery programmes, preferably with NRC or similar NGOs.
• Strong understanding of durable solutions frameworks, humanitarian‑development‑peace nexus and ability to translate policy into field implementation.
• Proven skills in programme planning, budget monitoring and reporting, with fluency in English (local languages an asset).
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder engagement and coordination abilities in insecure environments.
