Consortium Project Coordinator – Conflict Anticipatory Action

About the role

Christian Aid is seeking a dynamic professional to lead the Consortium Project Coordinator role for the Conflict Anticipatory Action Project (CAAP) in South Sudan. The position provides strategic leadership, coordination and operational oversight for a multi‑partner consortium delivering anticipatory interventions in conflict‑affected communities.

Key responsibilities

• Convene and manage consortium partners, including the South Sudan Council of Churches, Hope Restoration South Sudan, the Start Network and technical partners.
• Ensure alignment with donor requirements, reporting standards and compliance obligations.
• Oversee project implementation, monitoring, and timely delivery of resilience‑building activities.
• Coordinate budgeting, financial tracking and resource allocation across partners.
• Produce regular progress reports and facilitate communication between partners and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project coordination or management within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong ability to lead multi‑stakeholder collaborations and navigate complex environments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a commitment to inclusive, values‑driven work.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Juba for the duration of the 6‑month contract.
