Sexual Reproductive Health Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) Coordinator to lead its SRH portfolio in South Sudan. This position will provide strategic, technical, and managerial leadership to expand high‑impact SRH services, including contraception, maternal and newborn health, and postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) prevention and treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee implementation and scale‑up of SRH interventions across facility and community platforms.
• Lead the country‑level rollout of the SRHR Impact at Scale (I@S) initiative, focusing on expanding contraceptive access and PPH services.
• Integrate SRH activities with other Impact at Scale priorities such as immunization, nutrition, and cash assistance.
• Coordinate with health, nutrition, protection, and economic recovery teams to ensure cohesive program delivery.
• Monitor performance, produce technical reports, and ensure compliance with IRC standards and donor requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing SRH programs in humanitarian or low‑resource settings.
• Strong understanding of contraception, maternal health, and community‑based health delivery models.
• Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and work collaboratively with partners.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Technical expertise in SRH service delivery and program scaling.
• Knowledge of postpartum hemorrhage prevention and treatment protocols.
• Experience integrating health interventions with nutrition, immunization, and cash assistance programs.
