Senior Cash Transfer Officer

About the role

The Senior Cash Transfer Officer will support the design, implementation, and management of cash transfer activities for the Education for All in South Sudan (EFASS) project. Working under the Cash Transfer Lead, the role ensures cash delivery is timely, secure, accountable, and aligned with project objectives, donor requirements, and government priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end cash delivery processes, including beneficiary identification, registration, verification, payment preparation, distribution monitoring, reconciliation and documentation.
• Coordinate daily with financial service providers, banks and payment agents to track schedules, resolve service issues and ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Assist in applying inclusive targeting criteria, especially for girls and children with disabilities, and ensure accurate beneficiary records.
• Monitor risk and safeguarding measures, identify operational or fiduciary risks, and support escalation and mitigation actions.
• Work with MEAL and programme teams to conduct post‑distribution monitoring, collect beneficiary feedback, and document lessons learned.
• Maintain organized records, support data verification, and prepare regular internal updates, donor reports and reconciliation summaries.
