Project Officer (Humanitarian Hub)

About the role

The Project Officer (Humanitarian Hub) is responsible for the day‑to‑day coordination, management and oversight of the Malakal Humanitarian Hub operations. The role ensures effective delivery of accommodation, facility management and operational support services to humanitarian partners and residents.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of the Humanitarian Hub in Malakal.
• Manage and oversee facility management and accommodation services.
• Provide operational support to 39 agencies residing in the hub.
• Ensure compliance with IOM policies and UNMISS base regulations.

Required profile

• Experience in coordinating and managing humanitarian hub or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of facility management and accommodation services in emergency settings.
• Ability to work with multiple humanitarian partners and UN agencies.
