Partnership & Finance Manager

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Partnership & Finance Manager to support the financial management of the EFASS project. This full‑time, project‑funded position works closely with the Finance Lead to ensure accurate budgeting, reporting, and compliance across the project and its implementing partners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor the project budget, monthly spending plans, and cash projections to maintain sufficient liquidity.
• Produce monthly budget‑versus‑actual reports, variance analyses, and provide justifications to program and operations teams.
• Review financial transactions for compliance with donor and IRC policies, and ensure proper documentation.
• Oversee partner financial reporting, conduct spot checks, and follow up on issues to guarantee timely and accurate posting in the IRC financial system.
• Identify gaps in partner financial capacity, offer guidance, and strengthen compliance practices.
• Participate in EFASS procurement processes, providing financial input to align purchases with approved budgets and donor requirements.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial management within humanitarian or non‑profit settings.
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for donor‑funded projects.
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of donor compliance and procurement procedures.
