MEAL Coordinator – Juba, South Sudan

About the role

Solidarités International is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator to lead its MEAL activities in South Sudan. The role is based in Juba and will support the implementation of humanitarian programmes until the end of 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the MEAL framework for all programmes in South Sudan.
• Coordinate data collection, verification, analysis and reporting to ensure timely and accurate information for decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and internal standards for monitoring and evaluation.
• Supervise and mentor MEAL staff and provide technical support to programme teams.
• Facilitate learning workshops and disseminate best practices across the mission.
• Collaborate with partners, government authorities and other stakeholders to strengthen accountability mechanisms.

Required profile

• University degree in social sciences, statistics, public health, international development or a related field.
• Proven experience in MEAL functions within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with quantitative and qualitative data.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a challenging security environment and adapt to rapidly changing conditions.
