End-of-Program Evaluation – GBV Prevention Partnership, South Sudan

About the role

UNFPA South Sudan is commissioning an independent end‑of‑program evaluation of its Multi‑Annual Programmatic Partnership for the Prevention and Response to Gender‑Based Violence (GBV). The evaluation will cover the period July 2023 – September 2026 and assess performance, achievements, challenges and lessons learned.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive, evidence‑based assessment of the GBV partnership’s outcomes and impact.
• Analyse data on GBV prevention, risk mitigation, response, and sexual and reproductive health services for crisis‑affected populations.
• Identify challenges, gaps and best practices, and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Prepare a final report that supports future resource mobilisation, programme design, partnership development and policy engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) for humanitarian or development programmes.
• Strong background in gender‑based violence prevention and response, preferably in conflict‑affected settings.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality analytical outputs within tight timelines.

Required skills

• Expertise in evaluation methodologies and data analysis.
• Familiarity with GBV and sexual and reproductive health indicators.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
