Education Coordinator

About the role

The Education Coordinator will support the Programme Manager in delivering high‑quality education programmes in Bor, Jonglei State. Working closely with the State Ministry of Education, schools and implementing partners, the role ensures safe, inclusive learning environments for all children, including out‑of‑school and children with disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate partnerships and lead the implementation of Save the Children’s self‑implemented activities within the Education MYRP.
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff and partners to strengthen planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting systems.
• Oversee and guide the implementation of project activities carried out by implementing partners, including monitoring visits and producing signed‑off reports.
• Facilitate joint planning meetings with CP, CRG Coordinators and the MEAL team to ensure integration of programme activities.
• Support budget monitoring, financial compliance and procurement processes for education activities.
