Digitization Assistant – Healthcare Billing System

About the role

The Digitization Assistant will support the rollout and adoption of a provider billing system for healthcare service providers in South Sudan. The role focuses on onboarding providers onto a digital platform, offering user support, and helping shift from manual claim documentation to standardized digital processes to enhance billing transparency, efficiency and fraud control.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the deployment of the billing system to targeted healthcare providers.
• Educate providers on system functionality, usage procedures and requirements.
• Support provider onboarding, registration and system setup.
• Monitor provider utilisation, address operational challenges and escalate technical issues to ICT or development teams.
• Ensure compliance with digital claims submission processes and oversee user data backup in line with organisational policies.
• Collect feedback to improve system usability and performance.
• Track rollout milestones, meet implementation timelines and prepare periodic operational reports on adoption and usage.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Health Systems Management, Health Information Systems, Public Health or a related healthcare field.
• 1–2 years experience in a hospital, healthcare administration or health‑systems environment.
• Experience with digital health systems or healthcare information platforms is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of medical insurance operations is a plus.
