Country Representative – South Sudan (Juba)

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Country Representative to lead its South Sudan mission from Juba. The role reports to the Regional Coordinator in Geneva and is responsible for overseeing IMPACT’s activities in South Sudan, ensuring that data‑driven humanitarian and development interventions are effectively coordinated.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the South Sudan mission, based in Juba, and represent IMPACT with local and international partners.
• Oversee the collection, management and analysis of data that support evidence‑based decision‑making in humanitarian planning and coordination.
• Coordinate with IMPACT’s REACH initiative and other programme teams to deliver timely and reliable information products.
• Ensure compliance with IMPACT’s operational standards and reporting requirements under the guidance of the Regional Coordinator.

Required profile

• Experience in managing humanitarian or development programmes in complex crisis contexts.
• Strong understanding of the South Sudan humanitarian landscape, including displacement, food insecurity and climate‑related challenges.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and to engage with local communities and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Data collection and analysis (e.g., surveys, monitoring tools).
• Project management and coordination.
