About the role
As a Branch Controller you will oversee all branch resources, operational policies and processes to maximise sales, mitigate risks and deliver excellent customer experiences. You will be a key driver of operational excellence and digital migration within the branch.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day branch operations to achieve maximum effectiveness.
- Lead digital migration initiatives and promote electronic banking adoption.
- Ensure compliance with audit, governance and risk‑mitigation requirements.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities with creditworthy customers.
- Optimise service delivery processes to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce costs.
- Lead, coach and develop branch staff to achieve high performance.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 12 / NQF Level 4; preferred NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Management or related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in branch operations or a similar environment.
- Strong understanding of branch audit processes and risk management.
- Proven ability to drive operational effectiveness and digital initiatives.
- Experience managing and coaching teams.
