Country Supply Chain Manager – South Sudan

About the role

The Country Supply Chain Manager provides strategic leadership for end‑to‑end logistics, warehousing, transport, procurement and inventory management for Plan International programmes in Juba and field locations. The role ensures efficient, compliant and cost‑effective operational support for emergency and recovery responses while building local capacity through coaching and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee safe, timely and cost‑effective transport of goods from suppliers to project sites, manage transport contracts and ensure accurate documentation.
• Manage the vehicle fleet, ensuring mechanical soundness, fuel optimisation, driver logbooks and security equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and physical inventories for all warehouse commodities, implement FIFO, and ensure compliance with donor regulations.
• Develop and update procurement plans, conduct market intelligence, manage RFQ processes, and maintain an audit‑ready procurement documentation system.
