County EPI Manager

About the role

The County EPI Manager will lead the planning, implementation and monitoring of immunisation activities at county level in Aweil. Working on‑site, you will coordinate with security and health stakeholders to ensure safe, effective and equitable delivery of vaccines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update county EPI work plans and oversee vaccine distribution and cold‑chain management.
• Track coverage data, performance indicators and prepare regular analytical reports.
• Supervise, coach and mentor field teams, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and national guidelines.
• Liaise with local authorities, partner organisations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage the EPI budget, monitor expenditures and address operational challenges promptly.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in public health, immunisation programmes or health project management at field or county level.
• Degree or diploma in public health, health management, epidemiology or a related field (highly desirable).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; local language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Aweil and adapt to challenging environments.
