Technical Partner for Accelerated Learning & Reintegration Pilot

About the role

The Technical Partner will lead the design and delivery of a pilot program that offers second‑chance learning opportunities for out‑of‑school learners in South Sudan. Working under the SCALE project, the role focuses on adolescent girls, young mothers, returnees, learners with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a pilot curriculum tailored to out‑of‑school learners in Yei, Magwi and Kajo Keji.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Director, SCALE and local education stakeholders.
• Manage the indicative budget of approximately US$20,000, ensuring transparent financial reporting.
• Monitor pilot progress, collect data, and produce regular performance reports.
• Facilitate capacity‑building workshops for teachers and community groups on gender‑transformative and inclusive education practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and managing education projects in humanitarian or low‑resource settings.
• Strong understanding of gender‑responsive and inclusive education approaches.
• Experience working with out‑of‑school learners, especially adolescent girls and returnee families.
• Ability to travel and work onsite in remote areas of South Sudan.
