Strategic Consultant for DFCA (South Sudan)

About the role

The consultant will provide technical and coordination support to develop a context‑relevant, implementable Strategic Plan for the Drug and Food Control Authority (DFCA) in South Sudan, strengthening regulatory systems and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Support data collection, institutional assessment and analysis of national‑level health data.
• Coordinate stakeholder consultations, map stakeholders and facilitate logistics for workshops and meetings.
• Document stakeholder inputs, validation feedback and contribute to drafting the Strategic Plan sections.
• Assist in developing the Monitoring & Evaluation framework and costing components.
• Support finalisation of all deliverables and submit them electronically.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Public Health, Pharmacy or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience, including strong knowledge of the South Sudan health system.
• Proven experience in stakeholder coordination and facilitation.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Fluency in English.
