Senior Office Engineer – Technical & Project Support

About the role

The Senior Office Engineer will provide technical and engineering support from the head office, ensuring that designs are sound, cost‑effective and delivered in line with approved specifications. The role bridges the office and field teams, coordinating with consultants, contractors and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings, specifications, calculations and related technical documents.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical requirements and assess shop drawings, method statements and material submittals.
• Support project planning by reviewing work programmes, technical schedules and construction methodologies.
• Verify quantities, prepare BOQ take‑offs, cost estimates and evaluate supplier quotations.
• Prepare technical reports, maintain drawing registers and compile as‑built documentation.
• Provide on‑site technical guidance, answer RFIs and monitor compliance with approved designs.
• Ensure quality and HSE compliance by reviewing inspection records and recommending corrective actions.
• Produce and review technical drawings using AutoCAD and related engineering software.

Required profile

• Proven experience in engineering design review and project coordination.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, cost estimation and technical documentation.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical solutions.
• Familiarity with HSE standards and quality assurance procedures.
