About the role
UNICEF is seeking a Reporting and Monitoring SBC Specialist to strengthen knowledge management, reporting and evaluation for its Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) and Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) programmes in Juba, South Sudan. The role will ensure that evidence, community feedback and programme results are captured, analysed and used to inform decision‑making, programme adaptation and donor reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain SBC‑AAP knowledge‑management tools, dashboards, trackers and repositories.
- Capture, analyse and disseminate evidence, lessons learned, promising practices and programme results across sectors.
- Contribute high‑quality SBC‑AAP inputs to donor reports, situation updates, proposals, case studies and management briefs.
- Consolidate field data, partner reports, community feedback, social‑listening findings and programme indicators for monitoring and evaluation.
- Support assessments, rapid perception surveys, community‑feedback analysis and lessons‑learned exercises.
- Translate monitoring findings into practical recommendations for adaptive programming.
- Build capacity of UNICEF staff, government counterparts and partners on reporting standards, data quality and results‑based monitoring.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of professional experience in knowledge management, programme reporting, monitoring and evaluation, data analysis or social‑behaviour change.
- Strong understanding of results‑based management, data quality assurance and documentation of learning.
- Experience with SBC, risk communication and community engagement or accountability to affected populations is an asset.
- Experience working with UNICEF, UN agencies or international humanitarian organisations is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Communication, Development Studies, Public Health, Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics or a related field.
