Office Engineer – Road Project

About the role

The Office Engineer will support the road/highway construction project by handling technical documentation, progress monitoring, measurement, reporting and coordination activities. This permanent position is based on‑site in South Sudan and works closely with the Project Manager, engineering and site teams, the Contractor, Consultant and Client.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and control project drawings, specifications, technical submissions, registers and approval trackers.
• Collect daily and weekly progress data, assist in updating construction schedules and highlight variances.
• Compile quantity measurement data, support progress valuation, variations and payment applications.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and management reports, meeting agendas, minutes and action trackers.
• Coordinate technical information among the Project Manager, engineers, Contractor, Consultant and Client, ensuring timely responses and approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in road/highway construction project administration or engineering.
• Proven experience in technical documentation, project reporting, construction records, scheduling support and coordination.
• Strong understanding of road construction activities, drawings, specifications, quantities and reporting requirements.
