Faith and Development Assistant Officer

About the role

The Faith and Development Assistant Officer supports World Vision’s mission to transform the lives of vulnerable children by fostering spiritual growth and church partnerships. Working from Kuajok, the officer collaborates with Zonal Program and Project Managers to embed Christian values into programme delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate staff spiritual formation activities and coordinate faith‑based training sessions.
• Build and maintain relationships with local churches and faith partners.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of Faith & Development programmes aligned with World Vision’s objectives.
• Organise workshops, conferences and other events for staff, churches and partners.
• Communicate World Vision’s Christian ethos internally and externally, modelling a high standard of spiritual life.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to Christian faith and values.
• Experience working in humanitarian or development contexts, preferably with faith‑based organisations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage staff, churches and community partners.
• Ability to work collaboratively across programmes and adapt to a dynamic field environment.
