Boat/Field Vehicle Driver – Fangak County, South Sudan

About the role

VSF Germany is seeking a qualified Boat/Field Vehicle Driver to support its operations in Fangak County, South Sudan. The role involves transporting staff, equipment and supplies using both boats and off‑road vehicles across challenging terrain.

Key responsibilities

• Operate boats and 4x4 vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport humanitarian staff, cargo and relief items to project sites.
• Maintain vehicle and boat logs, report any incidents or maintenance needs.
• Assist with loading and unloading of supplies.
• Ensure compliance with local traffic and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience driving boats and off‑road vehicles in similar environments.
• Valid driver’s license for both vehicle types.
• Ability to work in remote and physically demanding conditions.
• Good knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
• Strong reliability and punctuality.
