About the role

VSF Germany is looking for a reliable Boat/Field Vehicle Driver to support operations in Fangak County, South Sudan. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting personnel, equipment, and supplies safely across challenging terrain and waterways.

Key responsibilities

• Operate boats and field vehicles in accordance with safety standards.
• Transport staff, cargo, and humanitarian aid to designated locations.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle condition.
• Coordinate with field supervisors to schedule trips and prioritize deliveries.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license for relevant vehicle types.
• Experience operating boats and off‑road vehicles in remote settings.
• Good knowledge of local road and waterway conditions.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks.
