Agri-TVET Coordinator – South Sudan (2 positions)

About the role

The Agri-TVET Coordinator will lead the implementation of the ARISE‑GREEN programme in the assigned county, ensuring that agricultural technical and vocational education delivers practical, market‑driven training to vulnerable youth. Reporting to the Consortium Programme Manager, the coordinator acts as the primary field‑level technical anchor.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all project activities in the assigned hub (Kapoeta, Torit, or Magwi) in line with the workplan and donor requirements.
• Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for TVET institutional capacity building and competency‑based training delivery.
• Facilitate partnerships with local TVET centres, county authorities, and private‑sector actors.
• Monitor progress, collect field data, and feed insights into the central project framework.
• Supervise Agric TVET Officers and ensure compliance with child safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in agricultural training, TVET, or development programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to work in remote, conflict‑affected settings.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Commitment to gender equality, inclusion, and child protection standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of competency‑based training methodologies.
• Understanding of agri‑value chain concepts and climate‑responsive practices.
• Experience with monitoring and reporting tools for donor‑funded projects.
