Supply Chain Officer

About the role

The Supply Chain Officer will ensure that all procurement, asset, and warehouse activities at the Maban Field Office are carried out in line with Save the Children International policies and donor requirements. This role supports program delivery by maintaining an efficient fleet of vehicles, managing fixed assets, and keeping warehouse records up to date.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out procurement processes in compliance with Save the Children policies and donor rules.
• Monitor order schedules and delivery lead times, notifying stakeholders of any delays.
• Use approved suppliers and framework agreements for all purchases.
• Develop and maintain price lists for commonly used program supplies.
• Ensure procurement requisitions contain complete information, charge codes, and required signatures.
• Control incoming and outgoing stock according to SCI procedures and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Supervise loading and off‑loading of goods, ensuring proper documentation.
• Manage the field office fleet of vehicles and oversee fixed‑asset registers.
• Maintain warehouse records and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and compliance reporting.

Required profile

• South Sudanese national.
• Reports to the Field Manager and the Roving Supply Chain Coordinator.
• Direct supervision of a Warehouse Assistant and drivers.
• Ability to work flexible hours, especially during humanitarian emergencies.
