Supply Chain Manager – Bor, South Sudan

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimise end‑to‑end supply chain operations in Bor, Jonglei. The successful candidate will develop strategies, manage vendor relationships and drive cost‑efficient performance across procurement, logistics and distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics and distribution activities.
• Analyse supply chain data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams to optimise sourcing.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Manage risks such as disruptions, shortages and cost fluctuations.
• Implement best practices for demand planning and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies and environmental standards.
• Leverage technology and data analytics to optimise processes.
• Lead, train and mentor supply chain staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum years of experience in supply chain management or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics and procurement.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
