Senior ICT Associate – System Support

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior ICT Associate (System) to provide technical support and manage the ICT infrastructure for its South Sudan mission and sub‑offices. Reporting to the Head of Resource Management and the Information Management and Technology Officer, you will ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operation of all IT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day support for servers, workstations, printers and peripheral devices.
• Monitor system performance, guaranteeing availability, reliability and security of ICT services.
• Assist users with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Azure AD, Intune, InfoSec portal, SharePoint Online and corporate applications such as Wave and Prima.
• Act as Tier 2 support, handling escalated issues from ICT Assistants.
• Maintain locally hosted Microsoft Windows servers, print services and Active Directory.
• Administer account lifecycle through the InfoSec portal.
• Supervise and guide junior IMT staff, providing technical direction.
• Conduct user training on corporate applications, security awareness and new system roll‑outs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ICT system administration and user support within an international or UN‑type environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and orient users effectively.
• Strong supervisory skills to lead junior staff and coordinate team activities.
