Remote WASH Consultant – Arabic Speaking

About the role

We are looking for an Arabic‑speaking WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) professional to provide remote technical support to our team working on a humanitarian project in Gaza. The consultant will guide local staff through weekly meetings and ongoing communication to help establish essential WASH infrastructure for affected communities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver online technical guidance to local staff on planning, installing and maintaining WASH infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot engineering and technical issues that arise during implementation.
• Advise on WASH‑related procurement processes and local sourcing.
• Participate in weekly status meetings with the local partner’s team.

Required profile

• Professional background in water and sanitation (e.g., water/environmental engineer, water‑treatment specialist, chemical engineer, bio‑chemist, public‑health professional).
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity.
• Experience in humanitarian aid or the MENA region is an advantage.
