Protection from Violence Programme Development Manager – South Sudan

About the role

The Protection from Violence Programme Development Manager will lead the technical development of NRC's Protection from Violence Core Competency in South Sudan. This senior position shapes strategy, ensures quality, and builds capacity of staff to protect displaced and vulnerable populations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the Protection from Violence strategy, technical guidance and macro‑logframes aligned with regional and global priorities.
• Ensure compliance with NRC policies, donor requirements and contractual commitments.
• Contribute to fundraising, prepare funding proposals, budgets and donor reports.
• Manage project staff, identify technical trends and provide direction for high‑quality implementation.
• Extract lessons learned and integrate them into staff development and programme design.
• Deliver systematic training on cash‑based and market‑based interventions.
• Represent NRC in coordination clusters, with national authorities and donors.
• Advocate for the rights of conflict‑ and displacement‑affected people.
