Programme Associate – Fixed‑Term (G‑6) – Juba/Bor

About the role

The Programme Associate (G‑6) will support UNICEF’s programmes in Juba and Bor on a fixed‑term basis. Working under the guidance of a supervisor, the incumbent will contribute to the design, implementation and monitoring of child‑focused initiatives across health, education and protection.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project management and partnership implementation activities.
• Manage data collection, analysis and reporting for programme performance.
• Track grants, monitor budgets and prepare financial reports.
• Support digital innovation and improve operational efficiency.
• Facilitate communication, knowledge sharing and dissemination of results.
• Assist in capacity‑building events and coordination of workshops.
• Provide flexible surge support during emergencies or high‑priority periods.

Required profile

• South Sudanese national with a relevant university degree.
• Ability to work under supervision while exercising sound judgment.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
