MEAL & Information Management (IM) Coordinator

About the role

The Danish Refugee Council is seeking an experienced MEAL & Information Management Coordinator to lead both Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) and Information Management functions. The role combines advanced survey design, data architecture, analytics, and capacity building for partners across the consortium.

Key responsibilities

• Design, harmonise and oversee baseline, end‑line, PDM, PSM and thematic surveys, ensuring standardised tools, sampling and ethical compliance.
• Develop and validate KoBo/ODK questionnaires, translations, skip logic and enumerator manuals.
• Lead data quality assessments, DQ checks, de‑duplication, version control and automated data pipelines (KoBo/ODK → staging → cleaned tables).
• Conduct statistical analysis using Excel, SPSS, R or Python and produce dashboards, factsheets and actionable recommendations.
• Maintain a consortium‑wide indicator dictionary, metadata standards and Power BI dashboards.
• Support accountability mechanisms, referral SOPs and produce routine accountability summaries.
• Mentor partner staff on technical deployment, data governance and learning integration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MEAL and information management within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong background in survey design, data architecture and statistical analysis.
• Ability to ensure data quality, ethical approvals and safeguarding standards.
• Experience mentoring and supporting multi‑partner teams.
